I believe that having a solid self-care practice is essential to living a fulfilled and happy life. It allows you to better manage anxiety and stress, avoid burnout, helps you show up as the best version of yourself, gives you the energy to achieve your goals, and allows you to support others as well (i.e. you can’t give from an empty cup).
Self-care is also the foundation for confidence and high levels of self-worth. When you prioritize self-care you are telling yourself, others, and the universe that you value your happiness and that you are worth it.
Make sure that you make yourself a priority, do what makes you happy, and love yourself!
For each area of self-care: physical, emotional/psychological, spiritual, professional (read more about this here) answer the following questions:
What am I doing for myself this week? How am I going to make myself a priority ? How am I going to fill my cup?
